This page explains what SignalBleed.com collects, what it doesn't, and how third parties may collect information when you visit. We try to keep it plain.
SignalBleed is a static website. We do not run our own servers that log requests, and we do not have accounts, sign-ups, or any feature that would let us collect personal information directly. If you email us, we'll see your email address and whatever you wrote.
We use Plausible Analytics to count visits in aggregate. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. It does not track you across sites or build a profile of you. Plausible records anonymous, aggregated data such as the page you visited, your country, your referring site (e.g., Google), and your browser and device type.
You can read Plausible's data policy on their website. There is no opt-in or opt-out needed because nothing personally identifiable is collected.
In the future, SignalBleed may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks, including but not limited to Google AdSense. When that happens, those networks may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to SignalBleed and other websites. This may include the use of personalized advertising.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of personalized advertising from many third-party networks at the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.
Third-party ad networks have their own privacy policies. We do not control what data they collect.
SignalBleed links to outside websites — including the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Wikipedia, community education programs, and other resources. When you click an external link, that destination's privacy policy applies, not ours.
SignalBleed itself does not set cookies. Third-party services we use, including any advertising networks, may set cookies in your browser. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
If you are a resident of the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have rights regarding any personal data processed about you. Since SignalBleed itself does not collect personal data, most of these rights apply to the third-party services described above. To exercise rights against those services, contact them directly using the links above.
SignalBleed is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we'll address it.
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
Questions about this policy can be sent to the email listed on our About page.
